Floral Tie Shoulder Romper

Today’s my first day back at work! I hope the day doesn’t drag and I’m not already “done” for the year after day 1. I’ll let you guys know how it goes!

But thinking back to a more carefree time in my life aka a week ago when I was in Hong Kong –  I wore this floral romper with tie shoulders and a wrap/surplice detail. You got a glimpse of it if you saw my post on my day around Central, the Symphony of Lights, and Victoria Peak.

The ties are actually stitched so you can tie them how you like but the straps won’t come undone. The floral print against the navy blue is so pretty and the overlapping back is a nice detail. I wore a black lace bodysuit underneath so the criss-cross straps you see in the back is from that. I wore the romper with blue slip ons and it was a great outfit to wear out and about all day long.

The lace bodysuit was perfect underneath. While it didn’t really offer me any coverage in the back with its straps, the top of the romper is loose fitting (on purpose) so it offered coverage in the front and at the arm holes. A bandeau or pretty strapless bralette would also be a good choice and offer more coverage in the back, but I decided to go with the bodysuit and I love the way it looked.
