Striped Pompom Beanie

I love pompoms on beanies because they’re so fun and they add that finishing touch. Beanies without pompoms are cute too, of course, but the pompom really does make beanies so much cuter! For Christmas I put a few items on my wishlist for Secret Santa and my Secret Santa gave me the two things I wanted the most: A striped beanie with a pompom and Michelle Obama’s book Becoming which I wrote about (here). If you couldn’t already guess, this post is about the striped beanie with the pompom.

I actually asked for this exact one, but it was more of a guideline – like “I’d like a striped beanie with a pompom”. To my pleasant surprise I got the exact one I put on my list. I love the wide stripes/color blocking. And the large hot pink pompom right on top is so fun and definitely is the best part of the beanie.

I cannot get over how pretty the color combo is! And since there are multiple colors in it, you can definitely pair it with so many different things. Since there is so much going on with the beanie, I went with a solid colored long sleeve tee and black leggings and let the beanie be the statement.
