Restyled: Watermelon Plaid Henley + Pearl Embellishments

There’s a whole story behind this watermelon plaid henley which I briefly got in to back when I first shared it a few years ago. I love the colors in this plaid and since it is so thin and lightweight I wanted to get a wear in before it gets too cold. Since I haven’t shared it on here in a while I thought I’d restyle it from the way I last wore it on the blog.

Last time I wore it untucked with taupe pants and light tan moccasin style boat shoes. This time I front tucked it in to pearl embellished distressed jeans, wore taupe booties, and wore a pearl barrette in my hair.

I didn’t originally intend to make this a pearl embellished look, but I knew I wanted to wear a pearl barrette. Then, when I went to pick out a pair of jeans to wear with the plaid top I came across my distressed pearl embellished jeans and total lightbulb moment! Love all the pearl details!

My jeans and plaid henley aren’t available anymore since they’re both a few years old, but I’m linking to similar jeans (one high end and one budget friendly) and one of this year’s version of J.Crew’s plaid henley along with a few others from other brands.
