Restyled: Loopstripe Sweater + Faux Leather Leggings

Faux leather leggings have been everywhere for months. I contemplated getting the infamous Spanx ones when they were on major sale a little while ago, but I couldn’t bring myself to spend like $70 on leggings. Plus, I’ve never bought Spanx leggings before so I didn’t even know if I’d want the leather ones. However, I did still want to try out the trend, but for less money in case I had a Ross Gellar moment and I hated them. Hopefully you all know what episode I’m talking about!

I found a pair of vegan leather leggings at Express that were on sale for Black Friday and my mom actually got them for me for Christmas. I wore them over the weekend with my loopstripe sweater from last winter.

I like that the leggings aren’t shiny, but more like a coated look. It makes them more wearable in my opinion. They look a lot more shiny in the photo on the website than they actually are in person.

I really like them and they are really comfortable on. I think if I bought another pair I’d get a high waisted pair because I think those would be even more comfortable.

They’re not currently on sale, but they are buy 1 get 1 50% off, which I assume applies to all the leggings? I’m not sure though.

UPDATE! The leggings are 40% off today!

My sweater is from last winter, but I found a similar one that is more fringe stripe rather than loop stripe, but similar look.
