Things I’m Still Loving
When I was thinking of a blog post I thought it would be fun to look back on some recent items I have shared on here that I’m still seriously loving. These are items that I have either included in my monthly favorites or just wrote about loving and are items that I still love. The items I have chosen to share today are my: Blue agate coasters from Anthropologie Pear shaped earrings from Amazon Grande Lash lash serum Victoria Emerson wrap bracelets (leather, velvet, sequin) Facial steamer I wanted the agate coasters from Anthropologie for a long time and I got them during the holidays on sale. I use…

March 2020 Favorites
It’s weird to talk about what I loved this month when this month has been the absolute worst. It’s like every month of 2020 is competing to be the worst. I’m thankful that I’m still healthy as are my friends and family (knock on wood) but we can all agree it’s a very weird, isolating, scary time right now. We’re all stuck inside our homes and only going out for necessities. I spend my days working from home – teaching virtually through Zoom – and if it’s a nice day I’ll go for a walk to get some fresh air and exercise after my work day. Unsurprisingly I only have…

February 2020 Favorites
I saw a meme somewhere yesterday that said something like January was 48 years long and February was 2 seconds and I think it’s so true! January felt like it dragged on and on and I always think the months go by in the blink of an eye so January was strange for sure. I can’t believe February is about to be over and it normally would be except for the fact that it’s a leap year! So let’s get in to my February favorites! First up, my Barefoot Dreams CozyChic Throw. I have been talking about this for a month. It’s my first Barefoot Dreams piece and I’m in love. I…

January 2020 Favorites
Normally, I start off my monthly favorites posts talking about how I can’t believe it’s the end of a month. However, this month has felt pretty long. Not that I’m rushing time, but seriously it feels like Christmas was a long, long time ago. Anyone else feel the same? I have a few favorites from this month so let’s get to it! First, I watched the documentary movie on Linda Ronstadt called “Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice” and really liked it. I listened to a lot of Linda Ronstadt growing up because my parents would play her music in the car all the time. The movie talked about…

December 2019 Favorites
Every month seems to fly by and I pretty much always say that, but I can’t believe we’re at the last day of 2019! Not just the last day of December, but the last day of the year and decade. It’s so crazy to think about. A lot has changed in the past 10 years and some things have stayed the same. The way 2019 started is really different from the way 2019 is ending. This year I moved out of my townhouse that I had bought with my brother and bought a condo of my own. Spent almost 3 months getting it renovated and just recently moved in. It’s…

September 2019 Favorites
I don’t know why but I keep thinking that October is a week away and then I’m thrown off every time I realize it’s a lot sooner than that. Like as in tomorrow. September has been really busy, but I’ve still got some favorites to share with you. First up is my new Coach wallet. My wallet before this one was a Vera Bradley one in a pink floral print and it lasted me a few years but it was getting real rough looking so I was due for a new wallet. I got this one for my birthday and I don’t see this exact one on the website anymore, but…

July 2019 Favorites
Well, this summer is truly flying by and I’m not too happy about it. Why do summers always fly by? Especially as a teacher? There was so much I wanted to do this summer – a lot more writing than I’ve done (which is close to nothing), but I have a little bit of time left to maybe at least start my project and not be a total waste. Anyway, let’s get to my July favorites. There have been a few things this month that I didn’t just really like, but I seriously loved and became maybe, slightly obsessed with. First up, Pepperidge Farm Sausalito Cookies. It’s been a long…

June 2019 Favorites
I can’t believe it’s July! I only have a few favorites to share from June and they’re pretty random so let’s get to it. Okay, for some reason the last few weeks of work this school year (meaning the first two weeks of June) I was eating the same thing for breakfast every morning on my way out the door – peanut butter on bread. Not toast – just bread. I think I was on a peanut butter kick and it was easy to just spread some peanut butter on bread, put it on a paper towel, run out the door, and eat it in the car on my way…

September 2018 Favorites
I can’t believe it’s Monday already. Weekends go by way too fast. I had a full weekend, but it wasn’t super busy and I got a decent amount of sleep both Friday and Saturday night so I don’t know why I was so tired all weekend! Anyway, I can’t believe it’s already Monday and I also don’t know how it’s October!? I have a few favorites from September to share. I watched a lot of stuff on Netflix and Amazon in September for some reason. Amongst all the things my two favorites hands-down were Jack Ryan and To All the Boys I Loved Before. The new take on the Jack Ryan stories…

August 2018 Favorites
Can you believe it’s already September? I can’t! Even yesterday when it was the last day of August, it didn’t really hit me that it was the end of August. I have just a few favorites to share this month. I feel like I’ve been saying that a lot lately, but I think when you’re busy you just have less time to think about what you’re really loving lately. First up, if you follow my blog and/or my social media accounts regularly then you know I spent the first half of August in Japan and Hong Kong. While in Japan we had pretty great weather, despite sweating to death in…
