OOTD: Wine & Painting

I’ve been wanting to go to one of those wine and painting classes for a while now so I was all for it when one of my friends asked if I wanted to go. The studio we went to is a chain and is called Wine & Design. The pictures people post on Instagram and Facebook always look so good, so I was worried how mine was going to turn out since I am not the most artistic person. The extent of my drawing abilities is stick figures. However, the class was a fun time with friends drinking wine and learning some painting techniques. The instructor really does teach you how to do things step by step so that you have a great end result.

The website for the studio says you would be provided with a smock/apron, but to wear something you don’t mind getting paint on just in case. I decided to wear denim shorts and a ikat tee that is nice and bright, but not something I’m incredibly attached to if it got ruined.

The Lorac items used in this were part of a kit I got from Ulta a few months ago, but I can’t remember the name of it.

And finally, here is my “masterpiece”! The painting we did is called “Eclipse”.
