Photo Challenge: Texture

The Daily Post’s Photo Challenge this week is texture and I thought I’d give it a try since I was inspired by the post about using natural frames in photos (see my post here). I figured being on vacation in Hawaii gave me an even better opportunity to take pictures of textures that I wouldn’t normally find back at home. Here’s what I came up with (first I’ll show you the close up pictures):

I think I’ll continue doing these weekly photo challenges whenever I am able to. I’ve been finding it enjoyable and I think it really makes me open my eyes and really take a closer look at the things around me. It really makes you stop and look around at all the things around you that you might not normally give a second thought to!
