Monochrome Mood
Yesterday was so cold and icy out. I recently wrote about how an outfit can completely reflect or change your mood (Gold Hearts post). Well, I was cold and tired so I decided I didn’t want to cheer up my look but instead stick with a monochrome look of black, and varying shades of grey and white. I also recently wrote about how marled sweaters (Multicolored Marled Sweater post)are much easier to dress up if they are grey/black/white and that’s just what I did today.
Sweater: Banana Republic
Pants: Express
I don’t remember where I got this beaded black necklace from, but it’s a long necklace that I doubled up. The sweater and black pants would’ve been fine for work, but I decided to dress it up a bit more with the necklace. I did consider breaking up the monochromatic look with a coral necklace, but then opted for the black. The sweater is a drop shoulder, hi-lo sweater which I love! Since it is a drop shoulder sweater it could easily go between casual and dressy. I couldn’t get a good full-length picture because I had a delayed opening today and the natural lighting was not cooperating so I had to move around and find a good spot to stand and put the tripod. #bloggerproblems
