Easy Asparagus Side Dish
Asparagus is one of my favorite vegetables – to be fair I like most vegetables – but I feel like asparagus often gets overlooked! The only time I usually see pictures of asparagus on Instagram and the like is when it’s wrapped in bacon or prosciutto or something savory like that. But, today I’m going to share with you all one of the most common ways I’ve been eating asparagus my whole life.
I know, I like to say that most of the recipes I share on here are fairly easy, but this one takes the cake!
I snap the ends off the asparagus and then rinse them. Then, depending on how large the asparagus is I will cut them accordingly usually in half or in thirds.
In a wok, I cook the asparagus with salt, pepper, and oyster sauce. Everything is to taste. Seriously, those are all the ingredients!
I love the crunch of the asparagus with that fresh green taste mixed with the salty flavor of the oyster sauce. So easy and a delicious side to any meal!
