French Terry Zip-Up
We’re officially into summer weather, but I think we’ve all experienced the problem of sweltering hot weather outside and freezing cold air conditioning inside. Layering is key to combat this issue so that you can shed layers once leaving the air conditioning and layer up when re-entering the frozen tundra that is most office buildings, malls, etc. in the summer.
At my work, one side of the building can be drastically different than another part of the building. Some rooms are so hot that you can’t even concentrate while you’re shivering in other rooms. It’s not a secret on here that I love cardigans and this French Terry Zip-Up one from Apt. 9 via Kohl’sΒ is something different than your normal cardigan.
I had to look up what exactly makes a material French Terry and I found out that it is flat on one side while the other side has cross loops. You learn something new every day!
When open, this zip up has a cascading effect. When zipped up, a cowl neck look is created. It looks good either way in my opinion so it just depends on how cold you are and what look you’re going for. The material is so soft and smooth and I like how it’s something different than the normal sweater.

The zipper off to the side gives it a unique look.
