Muted Paisley

My first day back to work yesterday wasn’t too bad, but I’m still not out of summer mode yet. This past weekend was filled with showers of the baby and bridal variety (but of course I showered too). I wore a tiered dress with a pink paisley design to my friend’s bridal shower on Sunday. I titled this post “Muted Paisley” because the color scheme is so subdued and gentle. I’m used to paisley designs being bright and bold so this was a nice change.

I enjoy tiered dresses – I find them flattering on all body types. And this print! I really love this print. It’s so sweet and I love the light colors. I can see this dress being easy to wear transitioning from summer to fall by swapping the wedges with boots and adding a cardigan. I may have to post a fall restyling of this dress.
