Gold Feathers

Whenever I’m going on a road trip I want to be dressed as comfortable as possible while still looking put together since I’ll be seen in public when I get food or go to the bathroom. As you know if you follow me on here or social media regularly, I went to Toronto for a long weekend last month to visit family and stopped overnight in Niagara Falls. For my outfit on the 9 hour drive to Niagara (including traffic, food, bathroom, and gas stops), I wore black capri leggings and this loose taupe tank top with 3 golden feathers on it. The tank top is so soft and buttery to the touch and paired with leggings it was definitely a comfy and stylish outfit for the car ride and walking from the hotel to the falls.

I like wearing leggings on long car rides and on planes because they’re so comfortable. They’re also good to keep your legs warm from the air conditioning. I always carry a sweater with me as well to layer up when the ac gets too cold. It’s always tricky because if you turn the air down then it gets stuffy but if you have it constantly running your legs or arms usually get cold. Plus it doesn’t help when you’re driving and the sun is beating on you from the window so the top half of you is hot but then your feet or legs are cold. It’s like you can never win! So best thing to do is cover your legs and bring a sweater!

Anyway, enough with that tangent. I love feather designs and this gold foil print of feathers on this top looks so pretty against the light taupe color of the tank top!
