Lace & Pearls

I’m officially on Thanksgiving break! So happy and the break was very much needed. So as many of you know already, this past Monday I did my winter professional photoshoot with Jaye Kogut Photography. Why winter already? Because I wanted to get the photos done before the madness of the holidays and before it got really cold out. It was already windy and in the 40s on Monday and luckily tolerable enough that I wasn’t shivering in my photos, but I can’t imagine trying to not look cold in my photos when it’s in the teens or single digits. So, we got the winter shoot out of the way and we won’t be shooting again until the spring! I will be sharing those photos (3 different outerwear looks) throughout the winter, but first I need to share with you my second and last fall photoshoot look!

If you missed it, back at the beginning of October, Jaye and I did a fall photoshoot featuring 2 outfits. The first one can be found in this post (here) where I wore a dark olive floral cold shoulder top and wine colored pants. For the look I’m sharing today, I’m wearing the same light pink lace-up flats and same rose gold watch, but I changed my pants and top. I wore a beautiful lace/embroidered mesh top with pearl embellished distressed jeans.

If you follow my blog regularly then you probably already know that I’m all about the pearl embellishments these days so when I saw that Francesca’s was selling distressed jeans with pearl detailing I was sold. The jeans themselves are actually really soft and smooth – no rough and uncomfortable denim here.

I really love this whole outfit from the delicate and romantic lace top to the pearl embellished jeans.

We took these photos at Davidson’s Mill Pond Park – the same park where I took the other fall outfit, just in a different area. I love how these photos turned out and I’m glad I got to showcase this outfit!
