Pearl Embellished Sweatshirt

Did you watch the Super Bowl last night? I’m going to be talking about that for a little bit so if it’s of no interest to you skip down to the 4th paragraph! So I’m so happy the Eagles won the game. I’m not an Eagles fan – I’m a Giants fan – but I can’t stand Tom Brady and as a byproduct the Patriots so I was really happy to see the Eagles win! The last 2 minutes had my anxiety levels through the roof, but it all worked out in the end! I really liked Justin Timberlake’s halftime performance. Being a JT fan, I thought he did a great job. It wasn’t as exciting and epic as Lady Gaga’s last year, but I still liked it. I saw some people criticize that he didn’t sing enough, but really I feel like halftime shows are more about the performance and not so much the singing.

Some of the commercials were pretty good too. They made me laugh or tugged at my heartstrings. I especially liked the Morgan Freeman/Peter Dinklage Doritos and Mountain Dew commercial, the Alexa commercial where stars like Gordon Ramsey and Cardi B take over, and the NFL commercial with NY Giants Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. reenacting Dirty Dancing!

I was going to try to watch the big This Is Us episode afterwards but I didn’t think I could watch such an emotional episode that late and be ready for work Monday morning! So I’ll probably watch today after work. Hopefully this week goes by a lot smoother than last week. Last week was just full of little frustrations that built up on one another to make for a trying week, but it’s a new week!

I’m starting this week on the blog with this comfy, stylish, sweatshirt embellished with pearl detailing on the sleeves. It’s so comfortable and seriously is just a grey oversized sweatshirt but add some pearl embellishments and you’ve got a pretty sweatshirt!

I love the varying sizes of the pearl embellishments to add some depth and interest to the detailing. I am loving the oversized sweater look these days because they’re perfect to wear with leggings and they’re just so comfortable! Hard to beat a look that’s both comfortable and stylish.

This is definitely the kind of outfit I wish I could be wearing to work on a Monday, but since I can’t, I suppose looking at the photos will have to suffice! Or will backfire and make me wish even more that I was wearing this outfit…
