Windowpane Scarf + Tassel Earrings

If you saw my Instagram Stories over the weekend, then you may have already saw this outfit. I shared it on Sunday on my stories, but here are all the details!

Over the weekend I had a spring photoshoot and I had planned to wear this off-the-shoulder top for one of the outfits. At the last minute I decided to swap it out for a different top, but since this one was already ironed and ready to go I decided to wear it on Sunday. It was a pretty warm day, but I decided to wear a scarf just in case it got a bit cool out. This windowpane scarf was a Christmas gift from my best friend and it’s lightweight with great simple, light colors that are perfect for spring. I finished off the look with pretty, light purple tassel earrings. I loved this “accidental” outfit!

I shared this crochet detailed ots top last year in a post and I still love it. It’s definitely a staple spring/summer piece. It looked great with the windowpane scarf and my lilac tassel earrings were a nice nod to spring and a subtle pop of color. The earrings are so comfortable to wear – I don’t like heavy earrings – and the strings of the tassels are so soft, like soft strings.

I really love how this outfit came together at the last minute. Sometimes those are the ones that work out the best!
