Love & Mickey Mouse Top

Over the summer Uniqlo launched their Love & Mickey Mouse capsule collection. I’m not sure if the collection is still launching pieces, but I was in Uniqlo last week and there were still Disney pieces. I may or may not have picked up a couple tees. But, that’s neither here nor there. Like I was saying, over the summer the collection launched and when I saw a preview online the brightly colored, multicolor Mickey on a black 3/4 sleeve top immediately grabbed my attention. I needed this top! The problem was it was only going to be available at select Uniqlo stores and the online release date was when I would be away on vacation, out of the country.

However, I was going to Japan and Uniqlo is from Japan so when I went inside to check out the store in its home country, I thought that if anywhere this would be my best bet at finding the shirt in-store. I did find it and I was so happy!

I wore this top during my day off on Monday and thought it would be cute to make it a sort of Disney-themed day. I wore my top with a mustard waffle knit cardigan, had coffee out of my new Minnie Mouse mug that my bff got me, treated myself to a face mask from the Kiehl’s/Disney collaboration (also a gift from my bestie but given to me on separate occasions), and maybe watch a Disney movie. The movie part didn’t happen, but if I had had the time I would’ve loved to sit on the couch under a cozy blanket and watch a classic animated Disney movie or one of the new live-action movies like Beauty & the Beast.

I used the Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Masque which smells so good. Kind of citrusy and zesty – actually it reminds me a lot of orange zest. It feels so cooling on the skin and I really wanted to use this one this week because my skin has been super dry with the cold weather. The best part is you only need to leave the masks on for 5 minutes so it’s totally easy to find time to do.

That wraps up my Disney themed day!
