    July/August TV Binging

I’m back with more shows I have finished/am currently binging during this extra time at home. This time it’s a mix of shows that are new, re-watches, and just new to me. Also, I just took this photo the other evening after a long, hot, humid walk outside for some exercise. I had just got home and washed up and was cooling off on top of my bed, scrolling through my phone. I saw the sunlight streaming in on the wall and thought it looked kind of pretty and peaceful. It occurred to me as I was writing this that I could use it since you can see my bedroom…

    Quarantine Binging #2

A few weeks ago I shared the tv shows I’d been binge watching during quarantine. Well, I’m already back with more shows (and 1 movie) that I’ve finished since then. So let’s get to it! The Last Kingdom I’ve written about this Netflix show in year’s past and season 4 recently dropped. I watched the season over the course of a week or so. I didn’t want to rush through it and I was pretty busy at the time with work so I was only watching 1-2 episodes a night. I love this show and if you’re unfamiliar, it follows main character Uhtred in England in the like 800-900s. He…

    Recent Netflix Binge Shows

In the past 1-2 months I have put a decent dent in my Netflix list of things to watch. Since I’m always so curious to know what other people are watching on Netflix, I thought I’d write up a quick post of what I have watching/what I’ve been watching since late July. First, Supernatural. I have watched Supernatural since the beginning and this fall the final season (season 15!) begins. Although I have been a big fan since it started 15 seasons ago I did fall behind 2 seasons ago. What had happened was I had episodes saved on my DVR to catch up on and lost the episodes and then…

    August 2019 Favorites

August was so crazy and busy that it felt like a really long month, but at the same time I can’t believe it’s actually September. In August I went to San Francisco for a week, had to wear my glasses for 2 weeks, had a birthday, went to see Backstreet Boys , had my first session of the Vbeam laser on my face, went back to work, got in to LIKEtoKnow.it and moved out of my townhouse. That is a lot of things! All in one month! Since I am exhausted from all the packing this weekend, let’s get right to my favorites in August. I’ll try to make it quick!…

    New TV Shows I’m Loving

Every fall I look forward to checking out the new shows on TV. Some I really look forward to and they aren’t as good as I hoped, some live up to expectations, and some exceed expectations. I’ve rounded up 4 new shows this season that I’ve been watching, loving, and fit in to that category of exceeding expectations. First up, Magnum, P.I.. This reboot of the Tom Selleck show modernizes the story of Hawaii’s favorite private investigator. It’s brought to viewers from the same producer as Hawaii Five-0. I never watched the original show, but I know of it. My mom used to watch it back when it was on tv…

    What I’m Watching

I’m back with another “What I’m Watching” post because there are always new things on or new to me shows that I’ve started watching. I’ve only got 3 shows to share with you today so let’s get to it! If you missed my last “What I’m Watching” post, catch it (here). The White Princess – This miniseries just finished airing on Starz. Did you watch it? I loved it! It helps that I’m a big fan of historical fiction and this series did not disappoint. It follows the previous series The White Queen that came out a few years ago. If you don’t know what it’s about I’ll give you a…

    What I’m Watching – Spring

I know it was not that long ago that I did a “What I’m Watching” post. My last one was just over a month ago. But since that post went up I watched (and finished watching) a few other shows and I wanted to talk about them now rather than waiting til later. Victoria –  I wrote a whole post about this show and how much I loved it! I watched the whole season on Masterpiece on PBS last month and was hooked. It follows Queen Victoria beginning from when she first becomes queen, learns what it means to be queen, falls in love with Albert, etc. 2. Homeland – Homeland‘s…

    What I’m Watching

If you know me, you know I watch my fair share of TV. I DVR more shows that I can count as well as watch shows on Netflix and the like. I thought I’d share a few shows I’m currently watching a lot of that I haven’t really talked about on here yet. Peaky Blinders – I’m obsessed with this British gangster drama. I know I’m late to the party, but I just started watching it earlier this winter. There are only 3 seasons out and I’m a few episodes short of finishing the available episodes but I’ve put off finishing it because I heard the next season won’t be…

    My Fall TV Picks

One thing I love about fall besides the weather, fashion, and foliage is checking out the new TV shows in the fall lineup. I have picked out the 5 shows I’ve been watching consistently and really enjoying, though some more than others. So in no particular order, let’s get started! First up, the show that is pretty much known as the tearjerker of the new TV season – “This is Us“. I don’t want to give anything away if you haven’t watched it yet, but “This is Us” is a show about the ups and downs of life and family – think of shows like “Parenthood” and “Brothers & Sisters”. All…
