Work to Post Work: Deco Print Blouse

Pretty much the first thing I do when I get home from work is get changed. I will change out of my work clothes, even if my outfit is super comfortable, and into comfy lounge wear in record time. I’ve mentioned in previous “work to post work” posts before that occasionally I’ll have plans after work – plans where I have time to go home and change first. More often than not, I’ll wear the same basic thing I wore to work but change it to be less “work” looking. Such is the case with this deco print blouse I wore to work last month.

To work I wore this deco print button-down blouse with black dress pants, my black watch, black flats and a trench coat.

After work I changed into jeans, peep-toe booties, and a denim jacket. I swapped out my watch for a stack of Alex & Ani bracelets. I never wear this stack to work cause all the jingling all day long would probably drive me nuts. So these bracelets are reserved for outings out of work.

Switching up a few things like pants and swapping out accessories is key to transitioning looks. I love that this deco print blouse can look dressy for work, but look completely casual and no frills for a post-work look!
