Multicolor Feather Cowl Neck

How’s the weather where you are? We’re still feeling the effects of the nor’easter. Yesterday was extremely windy, rainy/snowy. On my way home from work I saw so many downed power line poles and trees – it was crazy. My electricity went out for about 15 minutes last night. Thankfully it wasn’t for too long and it wasn’t too cold. Just last week it was 70 degrees!

Seeing as how the weather is definitely making me want to stay in, all cozy, I wanted to share this multicolor feather cowl neck sweater with you today.

I love the multicolored yarn in this fuzzy cowl neck sweater. The colors are really just so pretty. It’s soft and cozy, but since it’s so loose and the sweater has balloon sleeves it actually isn’t that warm. And I don’t necessarily mean that in a bad way. It’s good if you don’t like being too warm and risk getting hot. But bad if you had planned to wear this hoping to be really warm. You could always keep warm with this sweater by wearing a long sleeve tee underneath or something, but I just wore a tank top and for my purposes of wearing it a few weeks ago it worked.

I originally planned to wear this sweater with black leggings, but I decided to go with red velvet leggings to pick up on the berry tones of the sweater. Lastly, I wore my well-loved pink quilted slip ons. The light pink of the shoes helped tie the whole look together.
