Houndstooth Dress

Houndstooth always makes me think of old, vintage looks circa 1960s. It’s so classic and smart looking. When I saw this houndstooth dress, that has pockets (!), I automatically knew I wanted it. It has a good thickness to it and there is some subtle sequins on the dress so it gives the classic style a nice, modern update. I wore this dress to work with black tights (that have a fun lace chevron design), and black booties.

This dress was so comfortable to wear to work all day, although at first the arms were a bit scratchy and itchy, but after I got used to it it didn’t bother me at all anymore. The dress was definitely a bit too short for me to wear to work without tights, plus it was a cool spring day, so I wore my chevron black tights and black bow booties. I love the black and white of this look. The real star of the show was the pockets. Who doesn’t love dresses with pockets?!
