Funnel Neck Sweater

I want to start off this post by saying I don’t know why this sweater is called a “funnel neck sweater” because it looks like a cowl neck to me. My brother got this sweater for me for Christmas along with the hoodie I shared on here the other day. When I opened the box and saw the sweater I said something about how I like cowl necks and he said, “what’s a cowl neck? This is a funnel neck” to which I replied “What’s a funnel neck? This is a cowl neck”. Anyway, J.Crew lists this sweater, and many more like it on their site, as funnel neck sweaters. So I thought it was just another name for a cowl neck, but when I did a Google image search the pictures that mostly came up were of sweaters with a half turtle neck look. So I’m still not really sure what a funnel neck is since I’m seeing totally different things.

Anyway, This sweater is really soft and I love the front pockets. I like that it’s not too thick because even though I’m often cold, I don’t like wearing really bulky sweaters to work. Bulky clothes are hard to fit under your coat!

I love this funnel neck/cowl neck sweater and it’s so versatile. I wore it with black pants for work, but this can easily be worn with jeans or colored pants for a more casual look.
