Sheer Floral//Layers & Textures

It’s no surprise that I would wear a top with a floral print, but what I love about this outfit I put together is how well the layers went together and the layered textures look really appealing to the (my) eye. This floral, long sleeve top is sheer so I had to wear a tank top underneath. Instead of going with the standard white or black, I opted for green-ish blue, because I thought that would be a nice, complimentary color to show through. It’s hard to tell in this picture, but in person you can really see the tank top/color through the shirt. I wore the same tweed-like textured pants from the cross front top ootd that I wore earlier in the week.

This might be my favorite picture of this ootd. I feel like the each layer is so different from each other but despite that they go sooo well together. It just makes me happy to look at! It’s the little things!

I used the same products I’ve been using all week for my makeup, detailed here in my Polka Dot: Yea or Nay post. In between my cross front top ootd and this one, I also got my hair done. I got a trim, added some layers and asked my hair stylist to add the same color highlights (reddish/purple) but make it a little darker to suit the season.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend!
