Gold: Layered + Sequins

For years I didn’t really care for yellow gold. I didn’t like the look of it and much preferred silver or white gold. But in recent years I’ve started to really like yellow gold again. Don’t know why, but I’m not complaining!

I’d been looking for a necklace just like this for years. A layered necklace with little gold discs – small enough to look like gold confetti. But I either couldn’t find one I liked or they were too expensive. When I spotted this Amber Layered Y-Chain Necklace from Baublebar during all the Black Friday sales, I had to have it! I love the layers and the length. I think it’ll look great with solid colored tops or stripes like this one, v-neck tops, button downs with the first few buttons undone, summer dresses etc. For this look I decided to double up on the yellow gold and wore this striped top with gold sequins on the shoulders. I’ve worn the top on here before so this is like a restyling.
